Lyndonville spikers win in five sets

Coming from behind twice, Lyndonville outlasted host Oakfield-Alabama in five sets 22-25, 31-29, 13-25, 25-13, 15-11 this evening in s Genesee Region League volleyball match.

Leading the way for the Lady Tigers were Ashlee Stephens with 19 assists and 3 aces, Lorelei Dillenbeck 11 kills and 2 aces, Addison Dillenbeck 6 aces and 10 digs, Haley Shaffer 17 digs and 3 aces and Brianna Smith 9 digs and 2 aces one of which was the match clincher.

In another G-R match Kendall downed rival Holley 25-21, 25-20, 25-13.

Roy-Hart 25-25-26, Wilson 11-21-24

Defending champion Roy-Hart downed host Wilson 25-11, 25-21, 26-24 to improve to 2-1 in Niagara-Orleans League action.

Samantha Albright had 8 kills and 3 aces, Alex Stern 3 kills and 2 aces and Makenna Elsenheimer 2 aces and 1 kill to lead the way for the Lady Rams.

Newfane 25-25-25, Medina 8-9-14

Newfane scored a straight set N-O win over Medina as Lauren Bax had 8 kills and 10 digs.

Improving to 2-1, the Lady Panthers had a total of 28 service aces.

Dani Williams, Lexoni Russo and Addy Paul each had a kill and Elizabeth Parker a block for Medina.
