Lyndonville spikers win in 5 sets
Lyndonville outlasted visiting Oakfield-Alabama in a five set marathon 25-18, 25-11, 21-25, 22-25, 25-13 this evening in a Genesee Region League Division 2 volleyball match.
Jessica Harling served up eight straight points and Cierra Riley tallied six in a row in the decisive fifth set to help Lyndonville lock up the victory.
Riley had 3 service aces, 9 spiking kills and 5 blocks on the night for the Lady Tigers while Harling had 6 kills and 5 aces and Morgan Hungerford 5 aces, 3 kills and a block.
Lyndonville next visits Kendall on Tuesday.
