Lyndonville outlasted host Wheatland-Chili in five sets 25-14, 25-17, 18-25, 11-25, 15-6 in a Genesee Region League volleyball match this evening.
Ashlee Stephens had 4 aces, 11 digs and 22 assists, Lorelei Dillenbeck 7 kills, Addison Dillenbeck 10 kills and 7 digs, Jocelyn Mack 4 kills and Haley Shaffer 8 digs for Lyndonville.
In another G-R match, Alexander defeated Kendall 25-13, 25-21, 25-16.
Field Hockey
Akron moved into a share of first place with a 9-0 victory over Wilson in a Niagara-Orleans League field hockey game this afternoon.
Sophia Jones, Olivia McClaine, Madison Brege, Lacey Berghorn, Natalie Ginestre and Audry Smith took turns scoring the goals for Akron which is now tied with Barker at 8-0 for the N-O lead.
