Lyndonville scored a straight set 25-17, 25-22, 25-22 win over visiting Kendall in a Genesee Region League volleyball match this evening.

Katelynn Breeze served up aces for points 19 and 20 and Emma Freas scored points 22-25, a run ignited by an ace, to close out the opening set win for Lyndonville.

Madison Davis then served up the final two points in the second set for the Lady Tigers as Jocelyn Mack had spiking kills for points 22 and 24.

Kendall grabbed a 14-10 lead midway through the third set after a run of 6 straight service points by Lia Larson.

However, Lyndonville answered with a 5 point run of service points by Davis to regain the lead at 16-14 as Mack had back-to-back kills to cap off that run.

Kendall briefly pulled even at 16-16 on a service ace by Ella Christ but Lyndonville moved back on top to stay at 18-16 on another kill by Mack.

The teams then traded single points for the rest of the set as Mack had a key kill to put the Lady Tigers up 24-21. An exchange of side out points then locked up the set and the match for the Lady Tigers.

Mack finished with 10 kills, 3 aces and 2 blocks; Breeze 5 kills, 4 aces and 4 digs; Ashlee Stephens 11 assists, 6 digs, 3 aces and 3 kills; Alyssa Prine 8 digs and 3 aces; Freas 2 aces and 2 digs and Davis 2 aces and 2 digs.

For Kendall, Christ had 4 kills, Larson 3 aces and Kassie Primmer 16 digs.
