Lyndonville posts win at W-C

Steadily building on a first quarter lead, Lyndonville bested host Wheatland-Chili 64-49 this evening to improve to 2-0 in Genesee Region League action and 3-0 overall.

Nick Hinkson had a triple-double with 27 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds to spearhead the Lyndonville attack.

Eddie Schildt added 15 points, Eric Neace 11, Zach Johnson 7 and Hunter Ottaviano 4 for the Tigers. Schildt also grabbed off 11 rebounds.

Lyndonville jumped out to a 15-10 first period lead as Hinkson scored 7 points and Schildt 5.

The Tigers went on to hold leads of 31-24 at the half and 47-38 at the three-quarter mark as Hinkson scored 9 in the second period and Schildt and Neace 5 each in the third quarter.

Lyndonville next faces the host Rams in the opening round of the Roy-Hart Tournament on Friday.
