Lyndonville nips Kendall in G-R boys track

Lyndonville edged Kendall 53-52 this afternoon in a Genesee Region League boys track meet.

.Lyndonville scored wins in the 3200 Relay (Josh Slingerland, Phinn Cousins, Logan Seaman, Aiden Allen), 400 (Josh Slingerland), 400 Hurdles  (Logan Seaman), 1600 Relay (Josh Slingerland, Phinn Cousins, Austin Gardner and Logan Seaman), Triple Jump (Josh Slingerland), Discus (Kevin Travis – 1st, Chyenne Tackley – 2nd) and Shotput  with  a  1-2-3 sweep by Kevin Travis, Chyenne Tackley and Chris Mondoux.

For Kendall, Chris Nettles doubled in the 100 and 200 and Ben Brundage in the 800 and 1600.

Kendall defeated Lyndonville 82-20 in the girls’ meet as Leanne Clay was a triple winner in the 100, 200 and 100 Hurdles. Hannah Brundage also doubled in the 800 and 1500 as did Alezya Brown in the Long Jump and Triple Jump.
