Lyndonville nips Albion in U16 make-up game

A big 5 run fourth inning keyed Lyndonville to a 7-5 win over Albion this afternoon in a Batavia U16 League make-up game.

Zach Johnson, Roman Heinsley, Nate Dillenbeck and Rowan Balcerzak all had hits in the decisive frame which saw 3 runs score on an error.

Johnson and Dillenbeck both finished with 2 hits.

Kane Flynn and Oscar Heinsler shared in the mound duties for Lyndonville.

Deyonci Farley had 3 hits and Dylan Fox 2.  Farley’s hits included a two-run double highlighting a three-run second inning which also included a single by Patrick Ricker and 2 walks.

Albion, which is now 5-6, also recently downed Oakfield 14-2 in a rain shortended contest as Farley and Fox both had a pair of hits.
