Lyndonville/Medina boys volleyball team earns first victory

The first year Lyndonville/Medina boys varsity volleyball team earned its historic first ever match victory this evening defeating NE/NW College Prep of Rochester 21-25, 25-12, 25-14, 25-14.

Junior Eddy Schildt had 11 kills while senior Kenny Kalson had 10 kills. Junior Dustin Joy had 25 assists and 7 aces.

“It was a great win for our team and our program,” said Coach Kevin Laskey. “The boys have been improving throughout the season, and I’m so glad their hard work finally got them a win.”

The Tigers finish up the regular season at home on Monday vs Cardinal O’Hara.
