Lyndonville matmen top Albion

Six pins sparked Lyndonville to a 49-24 victory over visiting Albion this evening in a season opening non league wrestling match.

Jeff Gress Jr. (126), Garren Bayne (132), Scott Smith (138), Dustin Joy (145), Tom Follman (152) and Dustin Hinkley (160) all registered pins for Lyndonville.

Follman had the quickest fall of the evening in just 25 seconds as Gress, Smith and Hinkley all registered first period pins. Hinkley’s pin was the milestone 100th win of his career.

Cullen Heveron (120) and Alex Doran (170) also both earned decision wins for the Tigers.

Cade Aina (113) registered a first period pin for Albion.
