Lyndonville matmen down Holley-Kendall

Six pins keyed Lyndonville to a 48-23 win over host Holley-Kendall in a Genesee Region League wrestling match this evening.

Shannon Withey (118), Brody Hazel (126), Alex Farrell (138), Sam Doolan (285), Sebastian Temich (152) and Payton Grabowski (172) all registered pins for Lyndonville which also got decision wins from Christian Garver (110) and Ben Doolan (145).

Will Kruger (132), Shawn McAllister (160) and Ryan Blodgett (215) all had pins and Jacob Abrams (102) a technical fall win for Holley-Kendall

Boys Basketball
Wheatland-Chili 81, Lyndonville 41
Wheatland-Chili building up a 37-16 half-time advantage, Wheatland-Chili went on to defeat host Lyndonville 81-41 in a Genesee Region League game this evening.

Terry Bayly-Henshaw scored a game high 24 points to lead W-C while Mason Nicholson had 14 and Ian Mank 9 to pace Lyndonville.

Pembroke 75, Kendall 55
Improving to 7-1, Pembroke topped Kendall 75-55 in a G-R contest as Cayden Pfalzer scored 27 and Tyson Totten 22.

Devin Edick netted 24 and Louie Conte 13 for Kendall.

In another G-R contest, Oakfield-Alabama downed Holley 73-29.

Girls Basketball
Wilson 58, Roy-Hart 21
Wilson opened defense of its Niagara-Orleans League title with a 58-21 win over visiting Roy-Hart.

The Lakewomen led 35-12 at the half.
