LYNDONVILLE – Winning Crosby’s Winter Wonderland drawing on Monday was “just lucky,” said Dave Barhite of Lyndonville.

When the call came he had won two tickets to see the Trans-Siberian Orchestra in Buffalo, he thought it was a prank call, he said.

Sara Wells of Lockport started the Winter Wonderland campaign after being hired by Crosby’ a year ago. Customers who sign up for the store’s loyalty program are eligible for the drawing, which takes place from Dec. 1 to 25.

A different prize is offered every day, Wells said.

Crosby’s has 85 stores through Western New York and Northwestern Pennsylvania. The winner the very first day was from Lyndonville, Wells said.

Barhite said he has never seen the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, but he has heard they put on a “heck of a show.”
