Lyndonville, Kendall, R-H post volleyball wins

Lyndonville came from behind to defeat host Wheatland-Chili 26-28, 25-22, 25-13, 25-19 this evening in a Genesee Region League volleyball match.

Lorelei Dillenbeck was good on 27 of 29 service attempts with 8 aces and also had 12 digs and 2 spiking kills for the Lady Tigers as Tessa Heideman added 9 kills and 3 blocks, Riley Schmitt 7 kills, 3 blocks and 3 aces and Alissa Klinetob 12 assists and 6 aces.

In a non league match, Kendall defeated host Rochester Academy 25-10, 25-15, 25-19.

Brittney Marks went 25-25 from the service line with 8 aces and 5 assists for Kendall as Sara Mattle added 8 kills and 2 aces, Olivia Caldwell 4 aces and 2 digs, and Karlee Robb 4 aces and 2 kills. Lauren Pilon, Madison Shonitsky and Autumn Woodward each added 3 kills.

 Byron-Bergen 25-25-25, Notre Dame 19-19-17

Undefeated Byron-Bergen (8-0, 9-0) bested Notre Dame (7-3, 10-3) in another G-R match 25-19, 25-19, 25-17.

For Byron-Bergen, Madison Farnsworth had 17 kills, 3 blocks and 7 digs;  Lexi Vurraro 29 assists, 1 ace, 1 dig, 1 kill; Hannah Catalino 4 kills, 6 digs, 3 aces and Sara Fraser  5 kills, 3 blocks

For Notre Dame, Adryona Miller had 9 kills and Jewel Shenck 5 kills.

Pembroke 25-25-25, Holley 14-20-22

In another G-R match, Pembroke defeated Holley in three sets as Dekari Moss had 5 kills and 4 aces, Casey Wurtz  5 kills and  Emma Gutowski  5 aces, 4 kills and 4 digs.

For Holley Adriana Botello had 2 kills, 12 assists, 6 digs and 1 ace.

Roy-Hart 25-18-25-25, Albion 21-25-23-13

Roy-Hart (5-3) defeated Albion (2-6) 25-21, 18-25, 25-23, 25-13 in a Niagara-Orleans League match.

For the Lady Rams, Maddie Ciemny had 12 service points, 5 aces and 3 kills, Marissa Scott 3 aces and 5 kills, Sam Capen 2 aces, Jamie Sieb 5 kills, Sam Albright 3 kills, Renee Lehman 3 aces and Allie Dent 11 digs.
