Lyndonville, Kendall post diamond wins
Lyndonville defeated Attica 5-2 and Kendall downed Byron-Bergen 8-2 this afternoon in Genesee Region League baseball action.
Lyndonville took the lead for good by scoring three times in the third inning on a sacrifice by winning pitcher Zach Johnson and a two-run single by Noah Heinsler who had two base raps on the day. Three walks loaded the bases to set up the threat.
Oskar Heinsler later singled in an insurance run in the sixth inning.

Winning pitcher Mason Kuhn helped himself by banging out a two-run double in the first inning as Mickey Gardner added an RBI single.
Kuhn had a total of three hits on the day, including a triple, as John Rath and Jeremy Browe both had 2.
On the mound, Kuhn allowed only 2 hits, struck out 9 and didn’t issue a walk.
