Lyndonville, Kendall and Holley all score G-R girls basketball wins
Lyndonville, Kendall and Holley all scored victories in Genesee Region League girls basketball action this evening.
Lyndonville nipped Attica 57-54, Kendall downed Notre Dame 33-19 and Holley topped Wheatland-Chili 36-21.
Trailing 41-34, Lyndonville used a big 23-13 fourth quarter scoring surge to rally past Attica and improve to 9-2.
Lorelei Dillenbeck scored 10 of her 19 points and Ella Lewis 8 of her 18 to lead the Lady Tigers fourth quarter rally.
Karlee Rounds also had 8, Ashlee Stephens 6, Addison Dillenbeck 4 and Gracie Johnson 2 on the evening for Lyndonville which held a narrow 26-25 lead at the half.
Emily Gersitz took game high honors for Attica with 20.
Tatum Gagne scored 12 and Sam Bates and Alivia Wolf both added 5 to set the pace for Holley which led 22-9 at the half.
Trailing 12-10 at the half, Kendall used a big 15-2 third period scoring burst to key the win over Notre Dame and improve to 11-2 on the season.
Alezya Brown had 11 points and 8 rebounds, Libby Snyder 10 points and 13 rebounds and Julia Szczepanski 6 points and 8 rebounds to lead the way for Kendall.
Avelin Tomidy had 8 points and 10 rebounds for Notre Dame which is now 8-4.
