Lyndonville High hosted its annual Varsity Athletic Banquet on Monday evening highlighted by the presentation of a number of special awards.
The Babe Ruth Sportsmanship Award was presented to Daniel Barry and Elizabeth Whipple.
Sebastian Temich and Ashlee Stephens received the Coaches’ Award.
The Tri-Athlete Awards were presented to Justin Higgins (Football (4), Basketball (4) and Baseball (4)) and to Elizabeth Whipple (Volleyball (1), Soccer (4), Basketball (4) and Track and Field (4)).
The “Bub” Meland Award was presented to Elizabeth Whipple and the “Doc” Layer Award to Austin Gardner.
Daniel Barry and Katelynn Breeze received the Alfred Schmitt Memorial Award and Alexa Robinson the Harold Dix Jr. Memorial Award.
The Mike Fuller Memorial Award was presented to Ty Holmes, the Ted Hettig Memorial Award to Brooke Robinson and the Paul Howell Memorial Award to Justin Higgins and Ashlee Stephens.
The Trevor T. Cook “Unsung Hero Award” was presented to Kayli Miller and Justin Higgins.
Elizabeth Whipple received the Genesee Region League Scholar-Athlete Award.
The U.S. Marine Corps Award was presented to Sebastian Temich and Tisha Zeitz and the U.S. Air Force Award to Bradley Jisa and Jocelyn Mack.
