Lyndonville grapplers pin Kendall

Five first period pins highlighted Lyndonville’s 67-18 victory over visiting Kendall this evening in a Genesee Region League wrestling match.

A fall in just 27 seconds by Tom Follman (152) was the fastest for Lyndonville which also had pins by Jeff Gress Jr. (106) in :37, Dustin Joy (145) in :48, Chris McDonald (138) in 1:02 and Devon Joy (160) in 1:15.

The Tigers also got a major decision win by Dustin Hinkley (132) and a decision win by Anthony Bentley-Soloman (285).

Lyndonville also benefitted from five forfeit wins and Kendall three.

In another G-R match, Attica scored a win in the final five seconds of the last bout to nip host Holley 41-34.

Lucas Silvis and Austen Vroman both had pins for Holley and Martin Beadle a major decision win.

Barker/Roy-Hart trimmed host Tonawanda 44-39 in a non league meet as pins by Brent Bachman, Dan Gardner Jr., Joe Nolan and Kirk Fay led the way.

Dan Wheeler and William Jensen also both scored major decision wins for Barker/Roy-Hart.
