Lyndonville grad is named V-P for Rochester Lancers soccer team

Lyndonville High graduate Kayla Kent has been named Vice President of Operations for the Rochester Lancers Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) team.
Kent, who began working with the Lancers after she graduated from St. John Fisher in 2012 with a B.S. in Sport Management, was first hired as the Ticket Sales Account Executive and has been promoted several times within the organization.
Kent will handle the business side of team operations and work with Doug Miller as President of Soccer Operations.
“She will continue to bring energy and leadership to our organization” said CEO of the team, Salvatore ‘SoccerSam’ Fantauzzo.
“I plan to build on the success from last season and continue to lead the league in attendance and sponsorship” said Kent who is in her fourth season with the Lancers. “I will strive to build key business relationships that will lead to our success. I will continue to keep our team in the public eye as a positive part of our community which is very important to us as a 100% locally owned team.”
“Kayla knows every aspect of the sports business and will bring the Lancers to new heights. Her work ethic and love for this game make her special in this business” said Fantauzzo.
A four year varsity soccer player during her scholastic days at Lyndonville, Kent earned Genesee Region League All-Star honors three times.
