Lyndonville girls score win at Kendall

Snapping a five game losing streak, Lyndonville defeated host Kendall 45-38 this evening in a Genesee Region League girls basketball game.

Ella Lewis scored 12 to lead Lyndonville’s balanced attack  as Lorelei Dillenbeck, Ashlee Stephens and Alexis Hughes each added 7, Karlee Rounds 6 and Gracie Johnson 5.

Elizabeth Snyder scored a game high 14 and Kailie Regan added 6 for Kendall.

Up by a narrow 34-33 margin at the three-quarter mark, the Lady Tigers outscored the Lady Eagles 11-5 in the decisive final period to lock up the win. Lewis, Dillenbeck and Stephens each had three and Rounds two in the stanza.

Lyndonville led 18-10 after one quarter and 28-18 at the half.

Now at 2-9, Lyndonville next visits Oakfield-Alabama on Tuesday.

Kendall is now 3-5.

Oakfield-Alabama 47, Holley 17

Makena Reding scored 11, Kelsey Schleagenhauf 9 and Brooke Reding 8 to lead Oakfield-Aalbama to a 47-17 win over visiting Holley.

Halee Passarell scored 13 for Holley.

G-R Boys Basketball

Oakfield-Alabama 72, Holley 37

Up 37-26 at the half, Oakfield-Alabama outpointed host Holley 35-11 in the second half to claim a 72-37 G-R win.

Kaden Cusmano scored 20 and Travis Wiedrich 17 to lead the way for the Hornets.

Broek Ostrom shared game high honors with 20 for Holley.

Kendall vs. Lyndonville

The Kendall at Lyndonville game was postponed due to a power outage in Lyndonville.

The game is expected to be made up on Thursday.
