Lyndonville girls post win over Medina
Jumping out to a 16 point first quarter lead, Lyndonville went on to defeat visiting Medina 66-30 in a non league girls basketball game this afternoon.
Addie Dillenbeck scored 11 points, including three threes, in the opening period which finished with Lyndonville up 18-2.
The Lady Tigers went on to increase their advantage to 19 (37-18) at the half and to 40 (60-20) after three quarters.
Ashlee Stephens scored 9 in the second period and 7 in the third and Dillenbeck 7 in the second to pace the Lady Tigers during that stretch.
Dillenbeck finished with a game high 23 and Stephens 19. Bella Groves and Kayli Miller both added 6, Hannah Fox 4 and Tisha Zeitz, Katelynn Breeze, Jocelyn Mack and Elisabeth Ingersoll 2 each.
Iyla Lilleby led Medina with 16 as Honesty Hill had 6, Angel Mulcahy 4 and Nevaeh Moss and Ariel Smith 2 each.
Lyndonville is now 4-3 and Medina 1-3.
