Lyndonville girls edge Kendall

Lyndonville rallied for two runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to nip visiting Kendall 8-7 and improve to 7-0 in Genesee Region League softball action.

A two-run double by Jess Harling provided the margin of victory for the Lady Tigers as hits by Aubrey Lewis and Miranda Lembcke set up the threat.

Kendall had grabbed a 7-6 lead by scoring four times in the top of the seventh highlighted by a three-run home run by Madison Rath who had a total of three hits on the day.

Lyndonville also scored three times in the fourth inning, highlighted by a two-run homer by Mackenzie Muck, and three times in the fifth ignited by a triple by Aubrey Lewis.

Aubrey and Anna Lewis both had two hits on the day.

G-R Track

Kendall split with Wheatland-Chili in a G-R track meet. The Eagles won the girls meet 81-53 but lost the boys competition 94-42.

Maya Rutland won the 100, Taylor Rutland the shot-put, Taylor ReQua the 200 and Jenna Jacob the 100 hurdles to lead the Kendall girls. Maya and Taylor Rutland also tied for first in the high jump.

In the boys meet for Kendall, Brandon Lewis was a double winner in the long jump and high jump.
