Homecoming win for Lady Tigers over Medina
Rebounding from an early 1-0 deficit, Lyndonville celebrated Homecoming by rallying for a 2-1 victory over Medina is afternoon in a non league girls soccer game.
Medina jumped out to an early 1-0 lead as Destiny Satkowski scored off an assist from Martha Gardner.
However, Lyndonville battled back to knot the contest as Aubrey Lewis scored late in the opening half.
The Lady Tigers later netted the game winner as Anna Lewis scored off an assist from Brianna Paniccia with 12 minutes to go in the second half.
Lyndonville improves to 5-6 while Medina slips to 4-7-1.
Lyndonville next faces Wheatland-Chili Monday in a Genesee Region League game while Medina hosts front-running Newfane in a Niagara-Orleans League contest on Tuesday.
