Lyndonville girls down Holley

Photo by Cheryl Wertman – Aubrey Lewis scored 27 to lead Lyndonville past host Holley this evening.

Snapping a season long six league game losing streak, Lyndonville downed host Holley 44-23 this evening in Genesee Region girls basketball action.

Aubrey Lewis poured in a career high 27 points to spark the Lyndonville attack as Makenzie Muck added 11 and Jasmine Plummer 6.

Lewis also had 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals while Muck had 7 rebounds.

Olivia Radford scored 8 and Hayley Rowley 6 for Holley.

Lyndonville jumped out to a 23-14 half-time advantage as Lewis tallied 14 during that stretch.

Byron-Bergen 35, Kendall 25
Leading by a 17-13 margin at the half, Byron-Bergen used an 11-5 third period scoring edge to key a 35-25 G-R win over Kendall.

Dana VanVolkenberg led the Lady Bees with 11 points.

Taylor ReQua and Daniela Volkmar both scored 6 for Kendall as Taylor Rutland tallied 5, Lyndsay Wright 4 and Maya Rutland and Bridget Miller 2 each.
