Lyndonville girls down Byron-Bergen

Lyndonville rolled to a 21-6 victory over visiting Byron-Bergen this afternoon to improve to 5-1 in Genesee Region League softball competition.

Gracie Johnson picked up the win in the circle for the Lady Tigers allowing 5 hits and striking out 2. She also banged out 5 hits at the plate including 3 doubles and a triple.

Anna Lewis, Alecia Hinkson and Natalie Ostrowski each had a pair of hits for the Lady Tigers. Lewis and Miranda Lembcke both bang out doubles.

In other GR action, Notre Dame trimmed host Holley 4-1 and Pembroke blanked Kendall 15-0.

Jocelyn Chilton had 2 hits and Jade Hoffarth 1 for Holley.

Kassandra Norman registered 4 strikeouts in the circle for the Lady Hawks.
