Lyndonville extends winning streak to 7
Making it seven wins in a row, Lyndonville posted a 15-5 victory over Pembroke this afternoon in a Genesee Region League baseball game.
Lyndonville scored four quick runs in the first inning highlighted by a two-run single by Roman Heinsler and an RBI triple by Trenton Muck.
The Tigers then broke the contest open by erupting for seven runs in the third inning which included a two-run single by Rolland Balcerzak and RBI singles by Muck and Anthony Moule.
Balcerzak had a total of three hits as Muck and Heinsler each added two.
Nate Dillenbeck (7 strikeouts) and Alex Barry (3 strikeouts) split the pitching chores for the Tigers hurling three innings apiece.
Lyndonville is now 7-1.
Notre Dame 20, Holley-Kendall 7
Breaking away from a 7-7 tie, Notre Dame used five run scoring bursts in both the third and sixth innings to claim a 20-7 G-R win over Holley-Kendall.
Jorden Ostrander had two hits for Holley-Kendall which is now 3-4.
