Lyndonville downs Kendall to claim G-R Division 2 diamond championship outright

Putting a lock on outright possession of the Division II championship, Lyndonville downed visiting Kendall 12-2 this afternoon in the completion of a suspended Genesee Region League baseball game.

Rolland Balcerzak and Nathan Dillenbeck combined to hurl a three hitter for Lyndonville which improves to 11-0 in the league and 13-0 overall.

Lyndonville built up a 5-2 lead after the first two innings, a stretch which saw Balcerzak and Casey Winiecki both drive in a pair of runs.

A double by Noah Heinsler in the third made it 6-2. The Tigers then put a lock on the 10 run rule win by  by erupting for six runs in the fourth inning highlighted by a three-run triple by Winiecki.

Hunter Menze singled in both of Kendall’s runs in the first inning.

Lyndnville next visits Elba on Monday.
