Lyndonville downs Attica in G-R softball

Improving to 9-1, Lyndonville downed visiting Attica 9-2 today in a Genesee Region League softball game.

Breaking away from a 1-1 deadlock, Lyndonville took the lead for good by scoring four times in the third inning on a two-run triple by winning pitcher Haley Shaffer and RBI singles by Lorelei Dillenbeck and Addison Dillenbeck.

The Lady Tigers tacked on two-more runs in both the fourth and fifth innings to lock up the win. Lorelei Dillenbeck had a two-run double in the fourth and Addison Dillenbeck an RBI triple and Brianna Krisher an RBI single in the fifth.

Lorelei Dillenbeck, Shaffer and Addison Dillenbeck each finished with three hits.
