Lyndonville cagers roll past Kendall

Getting point production from a dozen players, Lyndonville rolled to a 96-48 victory over visiting Kendall this evening in a Genesee Region League basketball game.

Nate Dillenbeck scored 23, Russ Stephens 21 and Nathan Hydock 20 to lead the Tigers scoring parade as Anthony Moule added 9, Devin Rounds and Jon Slingerland 6, Rolland Balcerzak, Evan Horn, Hayden Woodward, Nathan Neace and Basil Cousins 2 each and Casey Winiecki 1.

Mason Kuhn scored 14 and Derek Edick 10 to lead Kendall as Riley Hirschman and Zach Barrett 6, Nicholas Spellan 5, Dale Steffen 4 and Noah Rath 3.

Lyndonville jumped out to a 10 point, 24-14 first quarter lead.

Dillenbeck scored 8, including two threes, and Stephens and Hydock 7 each, both including a three, to spark the Tigers in the early going.

The Tigers then broke the contest wide open by outscoring Kendall 26-8 in the second quarter.

Stephens and Hydock each scored 9 and Dillenbeck 7, each including a three, to spark Lyndonville in the period.

Keeping the momentum, the Tigers used a 26-15 third period scoring edge to extend the advantage to 39, 76-37 at the three-quarter mark.

Dillenbeck scored 8, Moule and Stephens 5 and Hydock and Rounds 4 during that stretch.

Lyndonville is now 3-1 in the league and 6-2 overall while Kendall is 0-4 and 1-7.
