Lyndonville nipped in walk-a-thon

Lyndonville dropped a 16-15 decision at Lima Christian this afternoon in a wild non league game that featured a total of 30 walks.

Lima Christian scored 3 runs in the bottom of the seventh to claim the win after Lyndonville had scored 4 times in the top of the frame to take a 15-13 lead aided by a couple of errors.

Jacob Hoffee had 4 hits for Lyndonville as Michael Wells and Eric Neace both had 3 and Eddie Schildt 2.

Now at 12-4 overall, Lyndonville next visits Notre Dame at 5 .m. Tuesday in a Genesee Region League game.
