Lyndonville blanks Alexander

Improving to 6-2 in the league and 11-3 overall, Lyndonville blanked visiting Alexander 3-0 this afternoon in a Genesee Region contest.

Jacob Hoffee went the distance on the mound for Lyndonville scattering 6 hits and striking out 6 as Tigers Coach Shane Price earned his 200th career victory.

Corey Hydock put Lyndonville on top to stay with a two-run double in the third inning. A single by Dawson Joy and a walk set up the opportunity.

Michael Wells then singled in the Tigers other run with a third inning single. A single by Eric Neace set up the threat.

Holley/Kendall 6, Elba/Byron-Bergen 2
Three-run scoring burst in both the fourth and sixth innings sparked Holley/Kendall to a 6-2 G-R win over Elba/Byron-Bergen as the Hawks improve to 10-5.

Justin Parker struck out 6 in 3 innings of work on the mound for the Hawks.
