Lyndonville ‘9’ tops Notre Dame

Scoring four quick runs in the first inning without the benefit of a hit, Lyndonville went on to defeat Notre Dame 6-3 this afternoon in a Genesee Region League game at Dwyer Stadium.

The Tigers combined a walk, 3 errors and an RBI sacrifice fly by Eddie Schildt into the big first inning uprising.

Michael Wells picked up the win on the mound for the Tigers scattering 4 hits over six and one-third innings.

The Tigers improve to 7-2 in the league and 13-4 overall.

CSAT 7, Barker 6
Capitalizng on a rash of errors, CSAT rallied to nip Barker 7-6 in a Niagara-Orleans League game.

The Eagles took advantage of 6 Raider errors, two of which came in the final frame helping to key a 4 run rally.

Brad Wilson and Chauncy McKee both had two-run singles and Collin Webb a pair of hits for Barker.

CSAT finishes the N-O season at 9-5 and Barker 8-6.
