Lyndonville ‘9 rallies to down Finney

A late inning rally earned Lyndonville an 8-5 victory over visiting CG Finney this afternoon in a non league baseball game.

Trailing 5-4, the Tigers pulled out the win by scoring four times in the bottom of the sixth inning.

An RBI triple by winning pitcher Trenton Muck tied the game and an RBI single by Michael Marker plated what proved to the the game winner.  Roman Heinsler then drove in a pair of big insurance runs with a double.

Heinsler finished with 3 hits as Marker and Jack Whipple both had 2.

On the mound, Muck allowed 1 hit and struck out 8.
