Lyndonville ‘9 blanks Holley

Staying undefeated at 6-0 in Genesee Region League play, Lyndonville posted a 14-0 victory over visiting Holley this afternoon.

After scoring once in the first, Lyndonville began to pull away by scoring three times in the second on an RBI triple by Nathan Dillenbeck and a two-run homer by Zach Johnson.

The Tigers then broke the contest wide open by erupting for five runs in both the third and fourth innings.

Matt Hess had a two-run triple, Johnson a two-run double and Dillenbeck an RBI double in the third while Casey Wieniecki had a three-run double in the fourth which also included doubles by winning pitcher Kane Flynn and Dillenbeck.

Flynn pitched the first four innings allowing just 1 hit and striking out 5.

Lyndonville is now 7-0 overall.
