Lyndonville ‘9’ blanks Holley-Kendall

Avenging a season opening 3-2 loss, Lyndonville shutout visiting Holley-Kendall 13-0 this morning in a five inning, run rule regular season ending Genesee Region League baseball game.

Roman Heinsler picked up the win on the mound for the Tigers allowing only 1 hit and striking out 7.

Lyndonville’s Trenton Muck slides into home before the ball gets to Holley-Kendall catcher Michael Samens. The umpire is Tim Pierce.

Rolland Balcerzak had 3 hits and Nathan Dillenbeck, and Anthony Moule  2 each to lead the attack for Lyndonville which finishes the regular season at 11-3.

Lyndonville scored two quick runs on an RBI single by Trenton Muck and a bases loaded walk in the first inning which also included a double by Dillenbeck.

The Tigers then broke the contest open by erupting for six runs in the second inning on two-run singles by both Heinsler and Moule, an RBI single by Balcerzak and an error.

Back-to-back run producing doubles by Dillenbeck and Balcerzak then sparked a four run third inning which also included RBI singles by Alex Barry and Dylan Burt-Hodgins.

Miles Lammes had a fourth inning single for the Hawks lone hit.

Holley-Kendall finishes the G-R season at 3-10.
