Lone TD wins for Mustang JVs
The Medina /Lyndonville JV football team nipped East Aurora/Holland 6-0 Saturday in a B East Division game at Vets Park.
Ronnie Koonce scored the lone touchdown for the Mustangs on a 36 yard run in the second quarter. A 37 yard pass from Koonce to Johnny Salone set up the TD.
Koonce had 99 yards rushing and 110 yards passing on the day and Salone 92 yards receiving.
Defensively, Salone made 9 tackles and Brendan Luthart had a key late game interception deep in Mustangs territory to preserve the win.
The Mustangs are now 2-0.
