Local wrestlers place at Knuutila Tournament
Several local wrestlers placed at the third annual Linda Knuutila Memorial Tournament held Friday and today at Niagara County Community College.
Medina’s Dominick Callara placed second at 110 as an injury prevented him from competing in the title match.
Lyndonville had Sam Doolan place fifth at 285. Sebastian Temich sixth at 160 and Christian Garver (118) and Payton Grabowski (189) both finished seventh.
Roy-Hart/Barker had Quinn Brown (152) place seventh and Dan Moore (215) eighth.
In the girls’ division, Lyndonville had Rylie Redmond (235) place second and Safia Delobbe-Scott (138) sixth.
