Local wrestlers earn G-R All-Star honors

Seven Orleans County wrestlers have earned spots on the annual Genesee Region All-League team.
That group includes seniors Erik Balys, Eli Stanton and Cade Aina and junior Tristyn Moyer from Holley-Kendall along with senior Chase Stinson, junior Mario Fidanza and sophomore Rodney Davis from Lyndonville.
Fidanza, who placed third at the Section V championships and earn a berth in the state tournament, compiled an overall record of 27-3.
Stinson, who also placed third at the sectionals went 33-9 and Davis 25-16.
For the Holley-Kendall quartet, Aina went 40-6, Balys 35-7, Moyer 33-8 and Stanton 32-10. Balys and Aina both placed fourth at the sectionals.
