Local trio on SUNY Brockport track squads

A trio of local student/athletes are off to a good start to the season as members of the SUNY Brockport indoor track and field squads.
That threesome includes Chanyce Powell from Albion along with Holly and Daniel Heil from Medina.
Powell, who is a sophomore, placed second in both the Long Jump and Triple Jump at this past weekend Brockport Golden Eagle Invitational.
An Exercise Physiology major, Powell also scored a win in the Triple Jump at Brockport’s season opening Green and Gold Invitational.
Holly Heil, who is a junior, was on the Brockport women’s winning 1600 meter Relay team this past weekend. She is majoring in Psychology.
Daniel Heil, who is a freshmen, likewise was a member of the Brockport men’s 1600 Relay team which placed third. He is majoring in Accounting.
