Local trio on NCCC softball squad

This spring’s Niagara County Community College women’s softball team roster includes a trio of former Niagara-Orleans League players.
That trio includes Medina sophomore utility player Olivia Herman, Newfane sophomore utility player Jordan Beutel and Newfane freshman third baseman Morgan Bedford.
Bedford had a big 5 for 5 day at the plate including a home run and 5 RBIs in NCCC’s 26-12 romp over Dundalk College on Saturday during the Lady Thunderwolves Maryland trip. Beutel also had 4 hits and drove in 5 runs in the contest.
NCCC is now 2-2 on the young season.
