Local trio earns All-State softball honors

A trio of local players have earned spots on the All-State softball squad.
Roy-Hart senior catcher Maddie Fry has been named to the Class B 5th team; Lyndonville senior outfielder Alecia Hinkson to the Class C 5th team and Kendall junior shortstop Brittney Marks to the Class D 4th team.
Fry, a four time first team Niagara-Orleans All-League honoree, hit .615 this season with 6 doubles, 5 triples, 3 home runs and 31 RBIs.
Hinkson hit .435 with 3 doubles, 1 triples and 29 RBIs.
Marks hit .456 with 4 doubles, 1 triple, 13 RBIs and 21 runs scored.
Hinkson and Marks were both Genesee Region League All-Stars.
