Local team captures tourney title

Compiling a 4-0 record a Medina based team, which included players from Medina, Akron and Lew-Port, won the 5th and 6th grade division of the CYP Spring Fling Basketball Tournament in Rochester over the weekend. Team members included, from left, Carter Krawczyk (Lew-Port), Jalen Duff (Lew-Port), Aidan Smith (Akron), Bobby Beilein (Lew-Port), Emmanual Taylor (Medina), Lavonn Guy (Medina) and Jarin Rhim (Medina).
