Local icers competing in spring hockey league
The Stanley Cup playoffs are now in full swing and locally several members of the Roy-Hart/Barker/Medina squad are playing in a Spring hockey league hosted by the Holiday and Leisure Rinks.
The local players including Michael Kuchey, Jason Kuchey, Colin Dodge and Dominic Pericciny along with Jacob Harris from Barker and goalie Andrew Warner are members of the Puck Hogs squad in the seven team Varsity Division.
The Puck Hogs defeated Batavia 11-2 in the season opener last weekend and then played to a 5-5 tie against Orchard Park on Friday.
Against Batavia, Jason Kuchey scored from Harris and also had an assist on another goal and Pericciny scored the final goal.
Against Orchard Park, Michael Kuchey scored unassisted, Jason Kuchey assisted on two goals and Pericciny assisted on the final goal.
