Local high school football teams face post season road tests
Albion (3-4) will visit Maryvale (3-4) at 7 p.m. Friday in the semifinals of the Section VI Class B Chuck Funke Memorial Classic Bowl.
The Albion /Maryvale victor will then face the winner of the Pioneer (2-4) at Fredonia (2-4) semifinal in the championship game next week.
Holley (0-7) will face host Wayland-Cohocton (1-6) at 6:30 p.m. Thursday in the semifinals of the Section V Class C Connors and Ferris Bowl.
The Holley/Wayland-Cohocton victor will take on the winner of the Mynderse (1-6) vs. Marcus Whitman (0-7) semifinal in the championship game next week.
In two Section VI matchup games, Medina/Lyndonville (4-3) will visit Tonawanda (2-5) at 6 p.m. Thursday and Barker/Roy-Hart (1-6) will travel to Olean (1-5) at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
