Two young Medina golfers in title contention at state Junior Amateur championships
Two young Medina golfers, Melanie Green and Ian Wagner, are in title contention after today’s opening round of the New York State Junior Amateur championships being held at Seven Oakes Country Club in Hamilton.
Green is in second place two shots off the pace after carding a 1 over par round of 73.
Wagner is four shots back after shooting a 3 over par round of 75.
The championships will conclude on Wednesday.
