Local GCC players earn All Conference honors

Two local Genesee Community College softball players, Albion High graduate Bella Prest and Medina grad Emily Kams, have been named to the second team of the Western New York Athletic Conference All-Conference team.
Prest, a utility player who played in 28 games, hit .280 with 1 double, 2 triples, 1 home run, a .321 on base percentage and 9 RBI.
Kams, who pitched in 13 games registered 68 strikeouts and had an earned run average of 2.87. At the plate, she hit .246 with 5 RBI and an on base percentage of .348.
