Local father, son duo keys diamond title win

Lyndonville’s father and son duo of Ed and Ken Urbanik recently helped the Rochester A’s capture the league and playoff title in the Rochester Men’s Baseball League.
The A’s finished the season with a 19-3 record.
In the championship game, with the score tied 3-3, Ken Urbanik doubled down the right field line and scored on a single to put the Rochester A’s into the lead in the bottom of the 8th inning.
Earlier in the game, Ed Urbanik lead off the fifth inning with a walk, stole second, moved to third on an infield out and scored on a sacrifice fly to knot the game at 2-2.
