Local duo to play soccer, swim at GCC

Two local student/athletes, Albion senior Paige Derisley and Medina senior Olivia Carter, have signed to both play soccer and swim at Genesee Community College.
Derisley has played varsity soccer for Albion for four years earning Niagara-Orleans All-League honors as both a junior and senior.
She has also played three years of varsity softball and two years of varsity basketball for the Purple Eagles. She will be resuming competitive swimming for the first time since middle school.
Carter has also been a four year varsity soccer player, a three year member of the swim team and a four year member of the track team. She placed first in the Long Jump at last spring’s N-O All-League meet.
