Local duo sparking FLCC soccer team

Lyndonville High graduate Ella Lewis scored both goals as Finger Lakes Community College upended No. 4 nationally ranked Genesee Community College on Sunday at Batavia.
The victory, the Lakers fifth in a row, vaults FLCC to No. 7 in the National Junior College Division III rankings.
Lewis, a freshman forward, has a team leading 12 goals on the young season. A Criminal Justice Major, she has season highs of 4 goals against Fulton-Montgomery CC and 3 against Herkimer CC.
Holley grad Halee Passarell, who is a sophomore, has helped key the FLCC defense which has allowed a total of only 3 goals in six games. She is majoring in Food and Beverage Management.
