Local duo shines for NCCC softball

Two local players, Roy-Hart graduate Shelby Wolf and Medina grad Morgan Allis, are having fine seasons as freshmen members of the Niagara Community College softball team.
Wolf is hitting .349 with 7 doubles, 1 triple and 11 RBIs.
Allis has banged out 2 doubles, 3 triples and driven in 13 runs while hitting .233.
Most recently Wolf had 2 doubles, an RBI and 3 runs scored in the second half of a doubleheader to help NCCC claim a 9-5 win over Jefferson Community College and gain a split on the day. In the first game, Allis had a two-run triple and Wolf a pair of RBIs.
The local duo also helped NCCC score a sweep of Genesee Community College recently by scores of 10-1 and 4-2. In the opener Allis had a double and triple and 2 RBI and Wolf 2 hits and an RBI. Wolf also had a pair of hits and 3 RBIs in the second game.
NCCC is currently 7-1 in regional competition and 11-12 overall.
