Local duo earns collegiate soccer honors

Two local student/athletes, Albion graduate Claire Squicciarini and Kendall grad Hailee Mitchell, have earned collegiate honors for the fall soccer season.
Squicciarini, a freshman at Alfred University, has been named Alfred’s representative on the Empire 8 Conference’s Sportswomen of the Year Team.
A Communications Studies major, she had 3 goals and 2 assists on the season earning a start in 10 of 21 games.
Mitchell, a sophomore forward at the University of Rochester, has been named to the University Athletic Association’s All Academic Women’s Soccer Team for the Fall semester.
A student-athlete must have a grade point average of at least 3.30 to be named to the All Academic Team
