Local athletes place at G-R All-League meet

Some two dozen Orleans athletes earned top five finishes at the annual Genesee Region All-League track meet held today at Alexander.

Holley’s Angie Weaver won the Shot-put (31-9 1/2) and placed third in the Discus. The Lady Hawks also had Kaleigh Neale place fourth in the 400, Lindsey Allen third in the Steeplechase and fifth in the 1500, Hanna Waterman second in the High Jump and Abriana Kruger second in the Pentathlon.

The Kendall girls squad had Lyndsay Wright place second in the 400 Hurdles and fourth in the 100 Hurdles, Andrea Villalobos fifth in the 400, Katie Wright fourth in the 400 Hurdles, Maddie Jacob fifth in 400 Hurdles, Sarah Pieniaszek fifth in Steeplechase, Alexis Payton third in High Jump and fifth in Long Jump and Kristy Mundaniohl fifth in Pole Vault.

The Holley boys had Jason Kimmel place second in the Pentathlon, John Mounts second in the Triple Jump and fourth in Long Jump, James Skehan fourth in 110 Hurdles, Camron LaBarge fifth in Long Jump, Alex Mounts fifth in Shot-put and Braxton Leary-Hart fifth in Discus.

Lyndonville’s Dustin Hinckley placed third in the 400 and fourth in the 200. Adam Cifelli also placed third in the 400 Hurdles for the Tigers.

Kendall had Damian Sprague place third in the 800 and Steeplechase, Cameron Heller third in the High Jump and Pole Vault and Ethan Kuhn fourth in the Pentathlon.
